Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Quality Advisor, Pipeline to be based in our Edmonton, Alberta location.

Quality assurance includes all those planned and systematic actions necessary to provide adequate assurance that an item or a facility will perform satisfactorily in service. Quality assurance comprises the aspects of quality assurance, which provides a means of control and measures of the characteristics of an item, process or facility to be established.

May include the following responsibilities:

  • Technically supervises quality projects or major phases of significant quality projects, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge to the completion of significant assignments.
  • Provides leadership for quality assurance and quality assurance, and the provision of quality assurance.
  • Provides leadership for new systems, development, proposals, implementation, procedures, and any related quality activity.
  • Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.
  • Develops and applies advanced quality assurance / control theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems on the forefront of new technologies.

  • Conducts investigations and tests of considerable complexity.

  • This position will be required to provide a satisfactory response to the question of AECOM.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent.

Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in the area of specialization.

  • A valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract

Preferred Qualifications

  • Auditor / lead auditor certificate desired.
