Perform Human Resources related duties at the professional level and carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training/LMS, employment, benefits and compensation programs.
This position also partners with IT to ensure HRIS database integrity across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Processes new hire paperwork and maintains employment files and HRIS system with current and up to date information.
- Partner with IT and Payroll to ensure HRIS database integrity across organization.
- Establish and maintains confidential files and records including employee data entry in the Enterprise HRIS, creating and generating reports as required.
- Coordinate onboarding for new corporate hires and termination processing for exiting employees.
- Responsible for 401(k) processing including employee contribution data entry.
- Responsible for the administration of Success Factors LMS, including creating and assigning courses.
- Perform recruiting and employment related activities in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
- Act as first-level support for employee insurance inquiries and follow up on problems with third party administrator, vendors and senior staff as needed.
- Develop the Corporate annual EEO and Affirmative Action Plans in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Monitor and evaluate plans and develop recommendations for achieving improvement.
- Assist department management in communicating current and new Human Resource Management practices.
- Assist with other HR Department projects as assigned and benefit open enrollment initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelors degree in human resources management, business administration or related discipline is preferred or equivalent work experience.
Professional Experience:
- 3-5 years experience working in a Generalist role.
- Experience in a Human Resources position is required.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Working knowledge of HRIS software, ORACLE JD Edwards Enterpriseone preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Basic knowledge of Human Resource theories, practices, and accepted procedures.
- The ability to research and analyze various different type of data information.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and manage work in an efficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
- Ability to consistently meet multiple and often conflicting deadlines.
- Detail oriented.
