Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing activity of the Project
- Drive the Solution/Sourcing Domains relation to respect Quality, Cost, Deliveries requirement:
- Challenge functional requiremetns on commodity, market constraints and QCD (Quality/Cost/Delivery) targets by commodity
- Organize workshops between Sourcing Domains and Solution team
- Provide regular feedback on strategy application and effiencies
- Drive material cost of the Work package material:
- Collect and formalize the Return on Experience (REX) of solutions which were successful or not in projects
- Bring new ideas
- Challenge solution requirements when relevant
- Ensures implementation in liaison with Sourcing Domains
- Identify risks and mitigation plans
- Consolidate Sourcing QCD (sector Project review):
- Provide requirements (by gap) to Sourcing Domains and challenge them when relevant
- Consolidate the material cost commitment
- Propose ideas based on Reference Library improvement plans
- Use Tender Sourcing Plan to check position versus cost baseline
- Manage the sourcing activity during execution
