Spire is seeking to fill a Lead Analyst, Technical position. This role will understand and support wide range of shared service and platform applications, with emphasis on end-to-end processes, data flow, and user experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Spire strategy and corporate development efforts by assisting business units and emerging businesses in preparing business plans and project analyses, ensuring a consistent analytical framework.
- Develop/refine valuation models and develop business cases to ensure a consistent analysis of strategic opportunities.
- Analyze corporate financial data and prepare pro-forma financial statements.
- Perform state economic research by analyzing GDP and population growth, major industries per state, income per capita, and other economic indicators to assist in identifying, analyzing, and assessing strategic business opportunities and corporate development initiatives.
- Assist in preparing presentations to support potential investments and other strategic initiatives.
- Assist in financial analysis to support long-term debt and equity financing activities, credit rating presentations, optimization of cash flow, capital structure, cost-of capital, and regulatory recovery.
