Description
You will be responsible for diagnostic testing, repair, processing and preventive maintenance of power distribution equipment. Must perform maintenance of equipment and analysis.
Requirements
- Candidate MUST have a minimum of three years' experience working directly as a Substation Technician.
- Must be fully knowledgeable and certified to perform substation equipment maintenance 15kV and above. Capability to operate oil processing rig and perform electrical testing is a plus.
- Must be willing to work over-the-road with the majority of jobs being performed in the Southeast and Midwest. Must be willing to work long hours, weekends and holidays. We primarily schedule techs to be home between most jobs (generally no multi-job trips).
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a clean driving record, be able to pass criminal background check, and drug screen.
Salary & Benefits
We pay competitive wages, overtime after 8 hours in a day, double time after 60 hours in a week and Sundays. We offer a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, short term and long term disability, life insurance, 401K with employer match. Vacation is offered after one year of service
