JOB SUMMARY
The position of Field Service Technician will report directly to the Outside Service Manager, and will work cooperatively with other members of the service team to provide mechanical skills and technical support. This position will perform service on NESCO's rental fleet while in the field. The Field Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the equipment is in proper working condition and their workmanship follows all procedures and protocol. This individual will communicate with service team members as well as the service manager on a daily basis.
JOB DUTIES
- Perform preventative maintenance on rental fleet.
- Troubleshoot and repair rental equipment.
Requirements
JOB STANDARDS
- 5+ Years of hydraulic and aerial device experience.
- Have your CDL class A
- Dielectric testing experience
- Must be able to repair aerial lifts, digger derricks, cranes and miscellaneous utility equipment.
- Must be dependable.
- Must be self motivated.
- Ability to use laptop computer, and smart phone.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent travel to customer locations is required, with many hours of drive-time expected.
- Flexible schedule a must as service assignments may require 2 weeks on the road at a time.
