Description
Opportunity for 2 Senior Level Automation Field Specialist to join an Oil and Gas Operator based in North Dakota on a contract basis for 12 months.
Responsibilities:

- PLC maintenance and troubleshooting of Rockwell based Logic.
- PLC programming & electrical integration of legacy and new build sites
- Troubleshooting and repairing Field SCADA end Devices to diminish operational downtime
- Developing or enhancing of PLC and HMI programs to accommodate operational needs
- Configuring and assigning Ethernet IP's for multiple device control networks
- Interfacing with multiple various telemetry and SCADA systems
- Provide SCADA system hardware, software, serial Modbus, TCP/IP, network support for maintenance, controllers, operators and other business group needs
- Mapping Databases for SCADA, HMI, PLC systems
- Applying specialized knowledge to ensure the safety, reliability, and cost effectiveness of technology used to meet business requirements.
- Problem Solving: Identify and correct safety hazards or system flaws that contribute to downtime or inefficient operations.
- Provide, mentoring, guidance, training and support to junior level SCADA team members if appropriate
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors or 2 year Technical Degree / Associates Degree or commiserate proven experience
- 5 or more years of experience developing & maintaining PLC programs
- 3 or more years of experience with PUMP Distribution Systems & Variable Frequency Drives
- 5 or more years of experience with program development on Allen Rockwell PLC platforms.
- 5 or more years of experience in commissioning & developing PLC programs for VFD pump controls
- Journeyman Electrician
- Must have Oil and Gas exp
- Must be able to rotate for 10x4 or 5x2 (travel/accommodation not paid). Local candidates preferred
