About the Job
We believe in providing our clients with the specific solutions to their problems. We're shipping large, complex industrial mobile robotics platforms that require a skilled integrator to perform field integration and commissioning services at our customers' locations.
As a Field Services Technician you will be responsible for reviewing the system interfaces, planning and completing the integration of our industrial products with our clients' systems. Your goal is to efficiently integrate our products into the customer's process, leaving behind a fully commissioned and documented robotic system. You'll be home-based in either Milwaukee or Madison, and supporting clients in the surrounding area. There will be times where you'll need to be on-call to provide customer support, as needed.
You will receive support from the rest of the Clearpath production, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that your work is streamlined. You will also provide feedback to the team regarding cost and complexity as necessary.
- Provide system integration, commissioning and start-up services (requires traveling to customer location)
- Review customer workflow, software and database systems
- Gather and document software and electrical interfacing specs
- Integrate Clearpath software and commission industrial solutions platforms

Required Experience/Skills:
- Exceptional professionalism and client-facing skills (frequent interaction with customers required)
- Detail oriented, particularly with a mind towards written communication
- Software system integration and system debugging
- Linux (Ubuntu), C, C++, Python
- Computer networking and applicable industrial standards
- Detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication
- You must be able to legally work in the US
