Description
Provide project-specific administrative skills to ENMAX Power Services Residential and Commercial and business lines.  Know that you are valued as a crucial contributor to the team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Set up and administer construction and project management related work files and associated documentation.
  • Plan project, procure resources and develop high level schedule for small/medium projects
  • Communication and coordination with internal/external project stakeholders.
  • Distribute project status reports.
  • Review and administer safety documentation including hazard/near miss reports and contractor monthly performance logs.
  • Track safety statistical data and prepare monthly statistical reports.
  • Record and issuance of meeting minutes involving project management, construction and safety meetings.  
  • Maintain and manage live link documentation as it relates to RCI Project Management and Construction.
  • Administrate project close-out.
  • Requests Inspections, Cable tests, EPC Work requests and Energizations
  • Provide ongoing support to all project stakeholders including but not limited to Business Unit Manager, Construction Supervisor, Scheduler, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Inspectors, Customers and Contractors.
  • Review and monitor accounts receivable reports, initiating appropriate mitigation measures to resolve late payment issues. Assist with project cost control including Change Order Management.
  • Investigate, research and provide input to Project Manager involving project variance reports.
  • Prepare monthly KPI Reports for review by management and other Key Stakeholders.
  • Create, maintain, and update spreadsheets as required including ad hoc reporting.
  • Provide back-up support to other Project Administrators, Scheduler and Project Lead.
Requirements

Education Required:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management Certificate or equivalent PMI Courses.  Working towards PMI accreditation. Candidates with directly related work experience may be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of administrative experience in a fast paced deadline driven construction environment
  • Working knowledge of financial and project management systems
  • Exceptional computer skills using Microsoft systems (Access, Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Project)
  • Functional understanding of Primavera scheduling systems
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Keyboarding skills
