Position Summary:

Lead and provide technical and operational leadership for Precision Machining Operation in China.
This position will be located in the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage China Precision Machining Operation and financials.
  • Develop machining technical talent and capability to support complex products.
  • Establish Operational Best Practices to ensure cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Establish and drive strategy for operation to support the business direction.
  • Manage P&L, costing for business.
Requirements

Personal Specifications:

  • A recognized degree in Engineering and/or Business
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience of which at least 5 years similar position in Metal Machining Operations (milling, turning, grinding, hobbing). Direct experience in machining preferred.
  • Creative, "out of box" thinker
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of P&L Management and Financial Metrics
  • Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and self starter
  • Good written and spoken English. Mandarin would be beneficial but not required.

  • Knowledge of safety, regulatory and government agencies.
  • Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
  • Ability to establish/maintain credibility and ability to motivate and direct others toward a self directed workforce.
  • Able to manage, read and understand Financial statements
