POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in either our Boise, ID office or Washington DC area to manage primarily global and international energy engineering projects for our Federal and International Divisions. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to manage energy related projects in the Federal and International markets including transmission and distribution, power production, utility system studies, renewable energy, energy security, and related projects.
Responsibilities include managing major federal energy projects and the client relationships and marketing all POWER's energy services to existing and new clients. The successful candidate must have a track record in the managing of engineering services or related projects with demonstrated skills related to electrical engineering including:
- CPM scheduling
- Budget and cost analysis
- Management of project teams
- Engineering problem solving
- Proposal writing and presentation
- BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering
- Five (5) or more years' experience managing engineering projects
- Minimum of 7-14years' experience in electrical and energy engineering
- Experience managing federal projects
Desired Education/Experience
- BSEE preferred
- PMP certification from PMI
- Experience with international energy projects including transmission and distribution, power production, system studies and related projects
- Experience with project management tools including but not limited, MS Project, Excel, Power-Point and CRM software
- Military background is desirable
