The Electrical Sustaining Engineer has demonstrated use of their unique skills and has a track record of multiple project successes. As an Electrical Sustaining Engineer you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas including:
- Manufacturing coordination
- Prototyping, Bread boarding and building Proof-of-Concepts
- Testing and evaluation of lighting fixtures, systems and components
- Troubleshooting field related technical issues
- Support pre & post sales technical issues
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or related technical degree from an accredited institution.
- Ability to use basic electrical test equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of power electronic concepts, switch mode power supply theory of operation, resonant systems, and control systems lighting products or lighting product controls related industry experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical/electronic product design
- Experience with Firmware programming
- Experience with programming automated testing equipment
