Responsibilities:

Complete methods/manufacturing engineering responsibility and authority, including but not limited to:

  1. The Project Industrial Manager monitors the activities and deliverables of the Industrial Engineers assigned to the projects. The activities and deliverables are:

- Design for manufacturability

- Labor cost estimate per install, learning curve, and cost to complete

- Tooling list, tooling budget and tooling schedule

- Logistic requirements list

- Make vs Buy list

- Set of indicators

- Work Instructions (OMS)

- MBOM and variance report

- FCCI schedule and action tracker

- Ensure Industrial Engineering efficient support to Production

- Travellers

  1. Ensure that the Industrial Engineering standard tools and procedures are in use on projects
  2. Forecast the needs in skills and resources according to the budgeted hours
  3. Ensure that the work packages are delivered in time within the budget commitment and with the expected quality
  4. Support the Industrial Engineers with expertise in: SAP, Hornell procedures and World excellence practices
  5. Participate in the establishment of the Department budget
  6. Lead efforts to implement Productivity/Process Improvements to reduce labor hours, cycle time and costs
  7. Maintain and update the capacity analysis in accordance with the MPS
  8. Interface with other departments to support the projects to achieve project goals
Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong Organizational skills
