Description
Manage all employees within the Manufacturing Support Group in Greenville, Hamilton and Juarez including maintenance, tool room and industrial/manufacturing engineers. Provide management-level support while complying with current ISO requirements, safety requirements, and good housekeeping standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation and maintenance of capital project budget with input from all functional groups within the organization.
- Responsible for populating, tracking and reporting of all cost savings projects.
- Responsible for building/property maintenance.
- Responsible for managing utility utilization and utility vendor selection where applicable
- Responsible for project management activities related to all current projects within group
- Develop and report on TPM activities by department and work center for each location
- Report status on all existing projects, maintain project pipeline for future projects and ensure sustainment for completed projects.
- Submit annual budget for approval by location and GL account for the building/property maintenance, MRO Spend, Tooling Spend and outside services related to functions within responsibility.
- Track spending to approved budget by month for each account with variance explanation
- Recommend/request necessary staffing at each location. Provide business justification for any additional indirect headcount
- Responsible for researching, promoting and recommending investment in the latest technological advances for core competency at each facility.
- Responsible for creating a robust business case for all investments with sound justification (i.e. payback for cost savings, major repair/replacement, safety, etc.)
- Responsible for all company assets ensuring they are inventoried accurately, depreciated appropriately, etc
- Establish and maintain maintenance work order system driving toward metric reporting such as machine downtime, maintenance spend by machine, maintenance labor tracking, PM schedules, etc.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required from a four-year college or university.
- Five plus years of related experience and/or training.
