We are looking for an experienced full stack python developer to join our growing team of 16 in Larkspur, California. Our growth is organic and profitable. We are not a fast pace "grow for the sake of growth" type of company. In fact, we take our time. Our motto is measure twice, cut once. We are not perfectionists but we make sure to do the right thing, at the right time, the right way. Our team consists of 3 sales, 1 finance, 6 engineers, 4 project managers, and 2 analysts. We also have two part-time contractors for accounting and back-log engineering tasks. We identify, develop, and manage clean energy projects for our customers. Our projects consist of solar, battery, and energy efficiency installations.
To achieve our mission and develop the projects, we perform extensive analysis to identify the right project mix for each customer. Our engineers have created excellent modeling tools which primarily consist of Python scripts. We have created two web apps using the Flask framework and deployed them on Heroku. The web apps work fine but they were not built by a software professional and are therefore not scalable. This is where you come in! We need an experienced software developer to build our software the right way. We need your help to scale our applications so we can apply our expertise to much larger projects than we have done to date. We need you to identify the technical development road map, build and support the software web applications. The other engineers will continue to develop Python scripts (the math and physics) and support you in building the web apps with your supervision.
