HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK?
- Develop application components to automate and streamline business processes and functions, according to design specifications
- Develop and unit test application code, user interfaces, data interfaces and reports
- Design, develop and maintain data conversion scripts to load data from external sources, and correct data quality or integrity problems
- Develop estimates of effort for development of, and/or modification to, application components
- Sustain existing applications
- Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation
- Troubleshoot and fix problems that occur in the everyday use of an application including network and hardware
- Monitor regularly scheduled jobs for successful completion
- Participate in hardware selection for mobile solutions
- Typically 3+ years of related industry experience with a post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
- Demonstrated proficiency in Remedy application analysis and development
- General proficiency with SPL/QL and database query tools, such as Microsoft Access and/or Toad
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Applications support experience
