Responsible for proactively calling prospective customers to follow up on potential leads. Actively engage with customer contact to elicit as much information and detail as possible on future revenue generating jobs. Detail results of interaction in CRM tool and escalate to appropriate Sales Representative or Director.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Qualify customers effectively and record appropriate data in CRM tool.
- Identify a prospect's existing and future projects that would require load bank testing
- Recognize and report on opportunities in CRM; identify, document, and define decision makers in CRM
- Create and enter new customer account data or update existing data.
- Perform data cleansing and auditing of data to identify gaps and missing information in CRM
- Understand the customer buying process and how it relates to the sales process and the ability to move to close through consistent follow up
- Work closely with Sales Representatives in qualifying leads and seeking alignment with them
- Build rapport and relationships with internal and external customers through prompt, courteous, efficient, and professional service.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM tool.
- Demonstrated sales success preferred.
- Some electrical knowledge or experience a plus.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals.
- Be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
