Description

  • Strong involvement and implementation of commodities strategy (or define it for specific segment)
  • Manage some global supplier panel relationship ( FA, Partnership,..)
  • Responsible for commodity QCDT and legal supplier performance management
  • Operational sourcing responsability on negociation, cross sites/businesses bundling
  • Animate Saving Plan by leveraging Desing to Cost, LCC, Volumes...

Supplier relationship:

  • Manage some global supplier relationship (FA, Partnership program, ...) 
  • Ensure global QCDT targets achievement, CONQ** & claims management for the global suppliers in charge
  • Lead supplier QCDT performance reviews
  • Respect Alstom Transport code of ethics and guidelines.

Commodity support:

  • Commodity representative
  • Consolidation of commodity needs, inputs
  • Strong imput to build differenciation for AT through supplier innovation
  • Active participation to commodity strategy and panel elaboration
  • According to delegation, define a strategy for specific segment
  • Build Sourcing Tender commitment
  • In charge of Buyer activity on specific segment
  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Apply the Alstom Transport Sourcing process, and provide return on experience.

Operational involvement:

  • In charge of Buyer activity on specific segment
  • Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving
  • Operational sourcing responsability on negociation, cross sites/PLs bundling
  • Lead Saving Plan by leveraging Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes ...
Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Business School or Engineering degree with Masters in purchasing

Technical knowledge / Experience

  • Experience between 5 to 10 years in Industry
  • International background
  • Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing
  • Technical and strong market knowledge of the commodity
