This is a temporary employee position, with an expected end date of December 31, 2018.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc. is expanding our energy efficiency programming, and is looking for a candidate with experience in the management and delivery of energy efficiency programs who is excited to take on new challenging programs and opportunities.

This is a temporary employee position that is required to assist EGD in Program execution of an Energy Reporting and Energy Efficiency program, which will provide advice to Residents of Ontario. The candidate should have a passion for energy efficiency, and helping residential customers reduce their carbon footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program implementation and close-out processes
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of program workplan, with revisions as appropriate to meet changing program needs and requirements.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, including oversight of program partners and subcontractors
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by program partners before passing to client, ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitors project receivables
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plan for internal team, as well as program stakeholders
  • Prepares regular program reporting and presentations to key stakeholders
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Ensures project learnings and outcomes are captured and reported for future reference.
  • Manages project budget, including monthly review and reconciliation, tracking of program expenses and team hours.
  • Facilitates team, program partner and client meetings.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to project stakeholders, internal and external clients.
  • Ensures all program delivery partners are comfortable with the program scope and uses various forms of communication to ensure key messages, dates and information are delivered and understood.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations and training sessions.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in business, finance or marketing with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Strong project management and business case development skills, specifically in the implementation of energy efficiency programs.
  • Familiarity with management of energy efficiency programs, specifically in the residential sector
  • A proven strategic thinker offering a fresh perspective on how to grow a business
  • Knowledge of energy management/energy efficiency would be a definite asset
  • Ability to work well independently as well as be a team player.
  • Self-motivated with dedicated client services focus and strong desire to succeed.
  • Strong communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.
