Description
Influence and help lead the advancement and automation of data and records management systems and supporting the Pipeline Integrity core process and strategic department programs. A senior contributing member of a team of data and records management professionals accountable for the implementation and delivery of the required systems, governance and processes.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Senior member of the Data and Records Management Team leading in the strategy and ownership of systems and processes by defining and sponsoring initiatives to meet Pipeline Integrity core process and strategic program goals
  • Support role to the Pipeline Integrity function and continuous improvement process, by seeking opportunities of optimization and efficiency gains through process automation and advanced data analytics
  • Strategic planning and portfolio management of Pipeline Integrity business capabilities that have a high impact on the core process and strategic programs
  • Recognized as a senior subject matter expert, providing insight and direction for effective data and records management strategies, ensuring maximum business value
  • Monitor and improve data quality leveraging the data governance framework
  • Facilitate the collection, rationalization and prioritization of business needs and requirements with senior stakeholders
  • Develop, implement and support data and records management processes and works with other departments to ensure alignment and accountability
  • Develop KPIs to measure and analyze the effectiveness of data and records management systems and develop actions to improve
  • Builds strong relationships with external organizations to understand industry best practices and trends to ensure Enbridge's data and records management practices meet or exceed appropriate standards
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in technology, data and records management or equivalent
  • 7 to 10 years proven Data and Records Management/Technology experience (ie. Implementing best practices, process automation)
  • At least 4 years experience sponsoring or leading high value, complex projects or initiatives (experience in data automation and analytics projects an asset)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with senior stakeholders
  • Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and accurately
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation and technical report writing skills are an asset

Preferred:

  • Excellent change management and negotiation skills
