Job Description

Responsible for the successful execution of Pennzoil and Quaker State passenger car motor oil brand plans in the US. This requires coordination with the NA Marketing Manager - PZL, the global brand managers and local channel teams to deliver the optimum mix of marketing and advertising initiatives. This may include media placement, public relations activities, sponsorships, influencer activation, event marketing, and acting as focal point for overall tactical brand campaign integration and execution. This role will have primary responsibility for the Quaker State brand and will support the Pennzoil Marketing Manager in areas where synergies exist across the brands. Objective is to grow consumer demand for our PCMO brands and improve brand metrics (preference and market share) while shifting customers and consumers from conventional to premium products.

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
  • Bachelor Degree; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven (7) years advertising, marketing, and/or sales experience.
  • Background in agency management, media planning. experiential marketing, sponsorship management and digital (social, SEO/SEM).
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical approach and commercial mindset.
  • Ability to generate creative solutions without complete information.
  • Experience leading teams to produce results, influencing peers and able to engage with senior leaders.
  • Experience managing multi-stage approval process, e.g. legal review; Customer focus and experience working with external teams or agencies.
