Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative, and detailed individual for our Accounting/Finance Internship. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. This opportunity includes rotations through various groups in our world class accounting and finance department. Duties may include working in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, tax, project accounting, and internal audit.

Responsibilities:
- Offer support in the areas of accounts receivable, account payable, cost accounting, tax, internal audit, consolidation accounting, and/or project accounting.
- Maintain databases, record journal entries, reconcile accounts, document accounting processes, file, and analyze financial data.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an Accounting or Finance degree program
- Minimum 1 year commitment to internship (part time during school year and full time during the summer)
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Interest in personal development and growth opportunities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with computerized accounting systems
- Experience with financial analysis
