JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of Power Delivery experience
- Knowledge of distribution system and related software preferred (JETS, Socket, GIS, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical operations, distribution systems, and underground and overhead construction practices
- Knowledge of outdoor lighting design, products, and engineering
- Knowledge of NEC code desired
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and computer skills
- Solid engineering and construction principles
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively prepare job packages and stake job sites in a timely manner and assist with scheduling to meet committed service dates.

Use technical applications (JETS, Socket, GIS/Designer, DistView) for estimating and designing jobs.

Establish and maintain a working relationship with internal team (sales reps, coordinators, billing, leadership, etc.).

Verify voltage drop, ampere rating of wire, and fuse sizes.

Obtain any required permits for projects (DOT, storm, water, etc.).

Estimate cost, order material, and bill the customer using JETS and/or GI.

Verify job sites to determine and minimize all hazards to installation, sharing this information with the construction team.

Stake jobs for accurate installation of material.

Verify all construction charges upon completion and reconcile material and other charges if required.

Close jobs in a timely manner and meet monthly compliance requirements.
