Description
The role will be responsible for helping to evolve the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis function at Babcock and Wilcox in support of the CFO and will have significant interaction with the CEO and Board of Directors. This role with supervise a team of 7 across two locations.
- Provide direction and vision from a finance perspective for the implementation of a global financial consolidation and forecasting package for Hyperion PBCS
- Lead global forecast process improvement efforts for income statement, cash flow, and covenant compliance
- Lead the forecasting of corporate expenses and roll-up of the full forecast, coordinating with operations finance
- Lead the preparation of forecast and financial analysis presentations for senior management and board of directors
- Participate in analysis of key transactions, including leadership in financial reporting integration
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Master's degree (MBA) and/or a CPA designation preferred
- 7+ years of related experience, Minimum of 3+ years of strategic planning and forecasting experience
- 2+ years of previous managerial experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with executive management
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience with financial statement analysis and financial metrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial systems; Hyperion experience a plus
- Highly motivated, self-starter with hands-on approach and ability to drive a consensus
- Multi-tasking oriented with ability to stay organized, set priorities, and meet deadlines
