Wood's Environment & Infrastructure Solutions Group currently has an exciting opportunity available for an Intermediate CAD Designer in our London, Ontario office.
In this position, you will join our growing Structural team and work with a variety of engineering and environmental disciplines to prepare site plans, cross-sections, and design and contract drawings for a variety of projects including commercial, industrial, transportation, municipal, and architectural / structural applications.
Key Responsibilities

Produce drawings using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software for Municipal/Regional infrastructure projects

Coordinate project drawings with project managers, CAD staff and others

Organize electronic and hardcopy drawings and related data files

Ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner

Coordination with other offices and business units in related operations
Skills / Qualifications
-
Three to five years of related experience, with preference given to Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.) or Civil Technician with experience in a Design Office

Two to five years' experience with an emphasis on Structural Infrastructure projects

Strong computer software skills including AutoCAD/LDD, Word, Excel & MS Project

Experience in 3D computer modelling and 2D drawing production using both AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit and MicroStation

Familiarity of Municipal/Regional structural infrastructure projects; design and drafting standards

Independent, Organized and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects

Some travel may be required
