Siemens is currently looking for a Financial Analyst for Trench Limited (a Siemens company). The Trench group is a specialized manufacturer of high voltage equipment dedicated to serving the worldwide electrical industry, in both utility and industrial markets, through engineering, service and commitment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Month-end closing process, ensuring all entries are completed on a timely basis 
  • Support in month-end Forecast Process including consolidation and review of all monthly forecasting 
  • Support all cost accounting activities related to manufacturing operations including standard cost development margin and cost ratio analysis variance analysis etc. 
  • Support product costing review, existing product coting, investigate and explain unit cost purchase price variance 
  • Reconcile inventory Raw Material, WIP changes, Inventory analysis as required 
  • Analyze reports for accuracy and consistency 
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting of key performance indicators 
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reports 
  • Support internal/external audit engagements by maintaining and providing proper documentation 
  • Support cycle count of physical inventory process 
  • Ad hoc and special projects as required

Qualifications

  • CPA required or in process 
  • Minimum of 1-3 years work experience preferred in a production environment 
  • SAP experience is a plus 
  • Cost accountant experience is a plus 
  • Understanding of financial statements, Income statement, balance sheet and cash flow 
  • A high proficiency with Microsoft Office specially Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines/schedules, self-starting, resourceful, ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Excellent organizational and English communication written and verbal skills as well as a strong customer service orientation are required 
  • Must have a quality conscious approach to work and be a team player
