The HRIS Data Manager is responsible for the support and maintenance of Belden's core HR system, SAP HCM. Reporting to the Director, HR Systems & Process Improvement, this role serves as the global point of contact for SAP HCM and assists subject matter experts (e.g. HR, comp, benefits, recruiting) with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and report writing.

Principle accountabilities include:

  • Responsible, in partnership with global team, for Organization Management master data entry.
  • Assists in the review, testing and implementation of SAP HCM upgrades, patches, and interface files.
  • Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Documents processes and results.
  • Provides end-user support in answering questions on how to best leverage system capabilities.
  • Researches and resolves SAP HCM problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or variations from established policy to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Writes, maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Performs regular audits to ensure data security and system integrity.  Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develops and maintains user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Provides training to internal clients on new processes/functionality.
  • Serves as steward of user experience for the HR applications supported; monitors system adoption and user feedback; ensures the development of processes, tools, support materials, and training to maximize system adoption.

Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of HR / HRIS / technology experience
  • Knowledge of SAP HCM required with emphasis on the following modules:  Organization Management (OM), Personnel Administration (PA), Payroll (PY), and Benefits (BN).
  • Experience supporting Benefits data integration between HCM and third-party benefits vendors.  
  • Interest and passion for career development in the field of HR and/or HRIS
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and how they impact HR systems
  • Experience with large-scale systems implementations (i.e. SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, etc ) preferred
  • High energy and resourceful individual with the ability to quickly take control of responsibilities and establish himself/herself as a credible & professional member of the team
