We are seeking an energetic, driven, results-oriented IIT Cyber / Utlility / Energy Industrial Sales Engineer. This position is based remotely; however candidates should be based somewhere within the Houston, TX area but we will consider candidates who are based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth or Austin areas but this would require considerably more travel to the Houston area.
This position is targeted to focus primarily on the Texas switch market and the sale of IIT Strategic products (i.e. Hirschmann, Garrettcom and Tofino) across all ISD verticals. The main focus will be to drive sales opportunities and demand creation with high-growth customers and named accounts in the targeted Energy, PT&D, Utility and Transportation vertical markets. It will require working together with the ISE's calling on end users, contractors, consultants, systems integrators, A&E / EPC firms and OEMs in the assigned region to generate year over year territory growth, and to maintain a healthy IIT funnel within CRM (Salesforce).
Other responsibilities include:
- Drive demand creation for assigned product sets at named accounts
- Call on end users, contractors, consultants, systems integrators, A&E/EPC firms and OEMs
- Generate year over year territory growth
- Maintenance of activity within CRM (Salesforce)
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of industrial sales experience within the Energy/PT&D/Utility vertical markets
- Experience calling on end users, Industrial OEMs, A&E/EPC firms and channel/distribution partners
- Experience in selling industrial IIT & Cyber related active devices into the Industrial Market preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred. (Engineering degree strongly preferred)
- Ability to travel extensively to customer locations primarily in the Houston, TX area
Desired
- Someone with some working knowledge of industrial IT and Cyber Security
- Experience selling to competitors like Ntron, RuggedCom, Cisco, Moxa, and CheckPoint
- Candidates who reside in the Houston, TX area
