AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Senior Program Manager - Construction to act as the client point of contact in support of a correctional institution construction project in Northern California. This position will be part time, as needed, and will be based in Sacramento, CA, with occasional travel to the project construction site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Routinely resolves difficult issues with significant financial impact.

Provides primary consulting services to clients of various sizes.
-
Interacts with senior government or public officials and/or executive level clients on significant program matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Assesses and manages risk on behalf of the client.
-
Provides oversight and direction to AECOM PMs and other staff, client staff and subcontractors.
-
Mentors deputy program managers.
-
Requires project and client management experience including management of multiple projects of significant scope and complexity.

Basic project management training and certification preferred.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Responsible for the financial health of the projects and programs.

Meets with staff and organizes all work and staffing.
-
Hires staff, as approved, by Regional Management, as required.

Provide oversight of projects cost, schedule, and performance.
-
Provide oversight of quality of all deliverables to the client.
-
Responsible for client relations and primary point of contact.

Develops proposals and manages all aspects of the contracts and amendments.
-
Directs all work associated with the projects or programs.
-
Develops presentations and conducts or facilitates presentations.
-
Other duties as may be assigned.
