Job Summary/Purpose

The Sr Manager, Organizational Health and Diversity is the key leader in designing, planning, and implementing, strategic initiatives that foster a positive corporate culture and advance Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging at Entergy. Leading a team of organizational health and diversity professionals, the role is a key strategic and tactical member of the HR organization.

This role will work in partnership with the business and human resources teams, including talent management, HR program management, and business partner teams to develop and execute strategies aimed at strengthening our corporate culture, tightly integrating business performance and organizational health and setting expectations for how we will execute on the Path to Premier.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with the HR organization, leads the Organizational Health and Diversity aspects of the HR Strategy, including:
    • Development, implementation, and measurement of strategic and tactical plans to improve  organizational health and advance diversity, inclusion and belonging at Entergy.
    • Develop strategic approach to align to Our Expectations that will define Entergy's enterprise-wide culture and the expectations for how we will execute the Path to Premier
    • Ensure and maintain integration of Our Expectations practices, themes and behaviors across our people-related processes, practices, procedures and hold leaders accountable.
    • Uncover "hot spots" in Organizational Health Index (OHI) survey data and assist lead teams in developing action plans to increase organizational health.
    • Research/benchmark best practices and build those into strategies for strengthening corporate culture.
    • Work with leadership teams on their data-driven approach to increase diversity, inclusion, and belonging in our culture
    • Provide oversight for organizational health related efforts, including administration of company-wide surveys and other measurement tools.
    • Development of education, tools and guidelines that advance Entergy's strategic organizational health priorities. Facilitate working sessions, training, and other interactive experiences to help foster a more diverse, inclusive and healthy culture at Entergy.
    • Partner with Corporate Communications on organizational health communication plan and work with appropriate channels throughout the enterprise to effectively disseminate communications and monitor the subsequent impact on advancing organizational health objectives.
    • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, HR Program Management,  Communications and other business functions to ensure alignment of organizational health initiatives with broader organizational objectives and an integrated, optimized approach to fostering a healthy culture at Entergy.
  • Builds organizational capability within the Diversity & Workforce Development team, and ensures top talent is hired and retained.  Responsible for leading and developing a team of Organizational Health and Diversity professionals to deliver on the activities and programs described above.  
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends in Organizational Health and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. Supports the HR Leadership Team to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future strategies.
  • Participates on HR and enterprise-wide steering committees and lead special projects. Responsible for building collaborative relationships with all parts of HR, Shared Services and other needed groups to deliver Diversity and Workforce Development results.
  • Interfaces with and provides oversight to external consultants and vendors.  Partners with vendors to achieve business results. Manages and provide oversight to HR contracts.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Or equivelant work experience. Masters or Advanced degree desired. 

Minimum experience required of the position

7+ years in HR or related experience with or without a degree. 

3+ years leading teams, or leading programs and initiatives where the employee can demonstrate the ability to effectively influence others.
