Job Summary:

Provides technical, administrative, and strategic leadership for all Airtron safety programs to ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable federal, state, and local regulations specific to health and safety activities.  Provide support for all aspects of Airtron Safety.  As a result, minimize accident and injury potential of employees and contractors to achieve an injury-free workplace.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:

  • Assist management in evaluating safety performance through job site inspections taking necessary actions to immediately correct any deficiencies found to maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Develop weekly reports and make recommendations for the effectiveness of safety programs and operations.
  • Assist in the reporting and communication of any significant safety incidents throughout Airtron.
  • Assist Airtron Corporate Safety Group in gathering information for incidents as part of Incident Management Process when needed.
  • Review investigation reports of incidents including safety, medical, first aid cases, and damage to property or equipment and verify that corrective actions are being completed and followed.
  • Perform audits and assessments at all Airtron locations to ensure compliance with company procedures, applicable federal, state, and local regulations specific to safety activities.
  • Perform and/or assist with data entry/extraction/modification in various information platforms used across Airtron (Intelex, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Develop a strong working relationship, through regular communication, with the Line Management and Division Leadership teams.
  • Participate on regular staff calls - attend and provide clear, concise updates. 
  • Other duties as assigned
  • In partnership with the Division VP, creates and reviews service and financial KPI's for the Retail business
  • Provides leadership, training and coaching to ensure optimal performance of the Retail team
  • Promptly addresses performance issues
  • Ensures that all direct reports comply with required safety standards and ensures that team members are safety conscious at all times
  • Provides regular performance updates to senior management
  • Meets or exceeds gross profit and consumer budgets; tracks progress monthly
  • Ensures all administrative guidelines are followed for timesheets, expenses, reporting and other operational paperwork
  • Reviews invoices/paperwork submitted by field personnel daily to ensure all necessary information is recorded neatly and accurately
  • Ensures team promptly completes all required training
  • Assures all work performed in the field and in the office meets the highest quality standards
  • Ensures that all permits are pulled and inspected as local code requires
  • Protects the company's assets; monitors how trucks, tools and inventory are handled
  • Responsible for effective hiring of all new team members and maintains adequate team staffing
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to safety

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; experience may be substituted for education
  • Computer competency is required, including experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work overtime with little noticeweekends hours may occasionally be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • HVAC business and/or field experience
