Overview
Supports PPL Electric Utilities' strategic objectives in maintaining industrial and commercial (C&I) customers' high level of satisfaction by providing inside support to the Business Services department.
Responsibilities
- Respond to internal/external inquiries and requests while complying with PUC regulations, tariff rules, and Company policies and procedures.
- Working with Business Services personnel to initiate proactive outbound phone calls to existing and new customers to help educate the customer on the various services available to continue fostering positive relationship building.
- Common tasks include initiating phone calls and emails to provide updates on service interruptions and miscellaneous follow up customer requests. Account maintenance activities including documenting customer inquiries and the company's responses and/or actions in CRM (Salesforce, CSS).
- Initiate contacts with customers to provide information on how to purchase electricity, as well as all the resources available to support the customers in the purchasing process.
- Educate customers on energy savings tips and ACT 129 programs the in which the customer may be eligible to participate.
- Provide outage information necessary for customers to make decisions about their operations.
- Promote service and billing options including paperless billing,
- PPL Alerts and online payment options to increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs to the company.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- A two-year college degree or two years directly working with external customers
Preferred Qualifications
- A four-year college degree
