Description
Minnkota Power is seeking qualified applicants for an Associate Contract Administrator located in our Grand Forks, ND headquarters. Job Responsibilities include:
- Negotiates and executes material and labor contracts for the cooperative
- Works with internal requesters to determine requirements, scope of work, etc. and then develops request
- Submits proposals to qualified vendors, conducts pre-bid meetings/calls, and then reviews proposals with internal requesters
- Administers and closes out material and labor contracts
- Conducts vendor interviews and meetings to maintain relationships and keep updated with the vendor's offerings
- Purchases materials and maintains supporting documentation
- Maintains vendor files and ensures they are up to date

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Training
- Required: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering or a related field
Experience
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in procurement, accounting, material management, contracts, or business law
