Description
Minnkota Power is seeking qualified applicants for an Associate Contract Administrator located in our Grand Forks, ND headquarters. Job Responsibilities include:

  • Negotiates and executes material and labor contracts for the cooperative
  • Works with internal requesters to determine requirements, scope of work, etc. and then develops request
  • Submits proposals to qualified vendors, conducts pre-bid meetings/calls, and then reviews proposals with internal requesters
  • Administers and closes out material and labor contracts
  • Conducts vendor interviews and meetings to maintain relationships and keep updated with the vendor's offerings
  • Purchases materials and maintains supporting documentation
  • Maintains vendor files and ensures they are up to date

Minnkota offers a strong compensation and benefits package. The salary for this position will be dependent on educational background and any relevant experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Training

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering or a related field

Experience

  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in procurement, accounting, material management, contracts, or business law
