Description
Position Overview

Primary resposnsiblity is carry out all quality inspection request from Quality Manager, Warehouse Management, and Customer Support. Ablity to to pick samples from different date codes for inspection identifying defects and determining if corrective action is possible. Additional duties include updating audit inspection log. Familiar with C=) sampling plan. Have basic knowledge of wiring and visiual inspection plan mimimum standards. Ability to communicate basic information of defects both verbally and in writing. Self starter and able to work with little supervision, detail oriented and able to function in office and warehouse setting. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in training employees and resolving problems e.g.
    • 5S
    • BBS
    • Standardized Work
    • PFEA's
    • Process Flow Maps
  • Ensure compliance of all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Complete daily reports as needed and do so in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft (PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel) and SAP.
  • Must have a solid understanding of logistics processes and materials such as specific process flows from receipt to disposition, commercial and residential products and standardized work for each process.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems, processes, and requirements such as
    • MMBE
    • LS24
    • LT24
    • VA03
    • MMO2
    • VL06F
    • MIGO
  • Demonstrated project management time and cost. 
  • High motivation and results-oriented work ethics and can work independent without direct supervision.
  • 3-5 years of high a volume distribution center experience is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required, college degree preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate well within all levels of the organization. Ability to present data in front of a group is a must. Scheduled weekly meetings reviewing all projects. 
  • Demonstrate ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands e.g.
    • Cost cutting directives
    • RCA's/PCA's that may be assigned
    • Vendor/supplier shortages
    • Fill other positions as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and results oriented, typical audience is senior level management.
  • Ability to be a team player, maintain a positive attitude and lead by example.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 lbs.
