JOB SUMMARY:

Looking for an opportunity to be part of an agile, creative and innovative team focused on usability, accessibility and customer engagement?  SaskPower is recruiting for the role of Digital Services Specialist (Product Analyst) for our product teams.  This role is accountable to provide subject matter expertise as a DevOps Product Analyst in Digital Services.  Technologies include LiveChat, Sitecore Web Experience Platform, Microsoft Business 2 Consumer Identity Access Management (B2C IAM), Microsoft Business 2 Business Identity Access Management (B2B IAM) and related specialized functions.  As a member of SaskPower's out of scope team, this position is responsible to act as a leader and central point of contact for both business and technical teams, providing expert advice and direction. As a member of Digital Services, this role will follow our usability and accessibility standards while maintaining a focus on customer and business partner enablement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Product analyst for our LiveChat tool
  • Supporting analyst with our saskpower.com team using Sitecore Web Experience platform (.NET framework)
  • Supporting analyst for Business 2 Consumer Identity Access Management (B2C IAM), Business 2 Business Identity Access Management (B2B IAM)
  • Product analyst responsibilities:
    • subject matter expert of the product,
    • how it is used and what functions it provides to the business / customer;
    • resolution of product incidents and problems;
    • change management;
    • management of product backlog;
    • assist with coordinated sprint planning and delivery;
    • works with the business to understand/document user stories (requirements),
    • test planning;
    • knowledge articles,
    • works with technical team to execute delivery;
    • reporting and KPI's for the product;
    • adherence to SaskPower standards including: security, accessibility, brand, code, and architecture. 
  • Outside the box thinking and innovation to identify new business solutions and operational efficiencies, while providing recommendations which have a significant impact on SaskPower's business operations and strategies
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects to provide functional expertise f
  • Represent Digital Services and prepare and present material to internal and external audiences as required
  • Maintain knowledge of industry developments and best practices related to websites and identity access management

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent AND/OR;
  • Five (5) years of related experience and/or technical understanding of Business Analysis, Product support and management (e.g. scrum master) and/or agile project delivery
  • Experience and understanding of public websites and/or customer portals, LiveChat, Sitecore Web Experience Platform, Microsoft B2C/B2B and/or related technologies and languages (.NET).
  • Understanding of user centered design and accessibility principles and standards.
  • Team player with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships both internal and external to SaskPower
  • Results oriented thinker, with the ability to manage and provide advice regarding complex and confidential issues with sensitivity and professionalism
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work and manage in a changing environment
  • Excellent facilitation, collaboration, accountability and decision-making skills
  • Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation and teamwork
  • Demonstrated skill in SaskPower's competencies
  • Must have a continuing record of professional development
