A day in the life of an AES DE Electrical Operations Technician will include:
Monitoring daily operation performance of the Hawaii solar facilities; Planning and performing preventative & corrective maintenance on solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment; Based out of your home, travel to solar facilities to perform preventative & corrective maintenance and ongoing construction activities; and Coordinating and managing contractors engaged to support the maintenance activities.
The successful candidate will have a depth of experience in the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of AC and DC electrical systems of varying types and voltages with a strong preference for candidates with experience working with PV solar and BESS. We prefer that these positions be based on Kauai with regular state travel and occasional regional travel to attend to the sites' needs.
