Job Description

This role sits within the Information Security corporate function, within the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tower. Responsible for implementing and managing strategic risk initiatives, including the following key priorities:

  • Responsible for risk management strategy and implementation, including implementing insider risk operations function, developing strategic roadmaps, and overseeing exception workflows
  • Drive planning and strategy for risk assessment function focusing on inherent risk evaluations
  • Architect and implement overall GRC initiatives that transition into operational workflows
  • Experience in leading a dynamic, global team effectively and managing its growth
  • Assist with driving the overall information security growth in governance, risk, and compliance capabilities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years in Security, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, or Strategy and Planning
  • Must be conversant in information security issues and risk trends
  • Must be able to collaborate and lead meetings with executive stakeholders, including C-suite, IT operations, system architects, security professionals, and business leads

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to travel up to 5%
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Must be conversant in project management principles
  • Industry-recognized Professional Security certification preferred (CISSP, CISA, CRISC
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
