Logistics Park Cedar Rapids is currently seeking a Warehouse Customer Service Associate to join our team in FairFax, IA.

The Warehouse Customer Service Associate will be responsible
for customer account activities that include coordinating and scheduling shipping and receiving appointments, inventory management, carrier and customer communications, and other related support activities. As a Warehouse Customer Service Associate, you will have ownership of assigned accounts for warehouse customers including scheduling, inventory, carrier interaction and warehouse management system (WMS) updates. In this position you will also provide prompt carrier and customer communications regarding account activities and provide support for customer information requests, business development opportunities, and value-add warehouse projects.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Ownership of assigned accounts for warehouse customers including scheduling, inventory, carrier interaction and warehouse management system (WMS) updates.
  • Provide prompt carrier and customer communications regarding account activities.
  • Provide support for customer information requests, business development opportunities, and value-add warehouse projects.
  • Update the warehouse management system (WMS) as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scheduling, processing, and distributing information.

Job Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to perform this job.

Required Experience

  • 3-years of customer service experience  

Preferred Experience

  • Associate Degree with emphasis in administrative support or related area
  • Previous experience working in WMS software platform

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated effective planning and organizational skills; ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet).
  • Works in a diverse and inclusive environment.
