Logistics Park Cedar Rapids currently has an opening for a Warehouse Operator to join our team! This position in FairFax, IA.
The Warehouse Operator will be responsible safely operating material handling equipment within the warehouse facility that results in excellent customer service. In this role as a Warehouse Operator you will operate electric forklift and associated warehouse equipment to safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. Additional equipment may include rail cars, conveyors, stretch wrappers, scrubber and hand tools. Also, the operator will work within a team to support various functions within Logistics Park Cedar Rapids.

Primary Accountabilities
- Operates electric forklift and associated warehouse equipment to move product safely and accurately within the warehouse. Additional equipment may include rail cars, conveyors, stretch wrappers, scrubber and hand tools.
- Proper usage and compliance with warehouse management system (WMS). Follows internal protocol for inventory accuracy and customer compliance.
- Loads and unloads trailers and rail cars in a safe manner as to not damage product or physical assets of Travero or customer.
- Participates in warehouse inventory tracking and audits.
- Maintains clean work environment including forklifts, exterior grounds, and warehouse operations.
Job Qualifications

Required Experience
- High School Diploma
Preferred Experience
- 2 years' experience operating an electric forklift in a warehouse facility.
- Previous experience operating an electric high reach forklift.
- Previous experience of working with a warehouse management system (WMS).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive work group.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to work inside and outside with exposure to temperature extremes.
- Ability to use a calculator and basic math competency.
- Flexibility to other work assignments including sanitation, value-added, assembly and rework projects.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. safely.
