Summary
The position is located in Transmission Product Management & Market Analysis (TSBM) organization of Commercial Policy and Implementation (TSB), Transmission Marketing and Sales (TS), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA).
A successful candidate in this position will serve as a Product Management Specialist responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing product processes with product managers and market analysts in support of identified products.
Responsibilities
As a Public Utilities Specialist, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement all product processes with product managers and market analysts.
- Provide leadership and advice to executives and senior management in the development of various business strategies and policies especially those governing network transmission services.
- For specifically identified products, support the market analysis function, assessing, on an ongoing basis, market and competitive conditions, their impacts on identified products.
- Coordinate the development, production, distribution of relevant assigned product performance reports, including the monthly and annual reports.
- For specifically identified products, assist and lead, as required, in the understanding of customer requirements, defining and prioritizing them, and leading line organization teams to build, operate and improve them as necessary.
- For specifically identified products, maintain all value chain service delivery relationships, assuring they are accessed appropriately in product reviews and new product formulations and that their processes continue to support the products objectives adequately.
- Analyze industry and regulatory trends and advises BPA management on potential future industry directions, especially related to new generation and load service.
- Represent the interests of Transmission Services in various industry forums including but not limited to WECC subcommittees such as the Western Systems Coordinating Council, NERC, NAESB, and other industry groups.
