Job Description
The Quality Technician 1 is responsible for following procedures to inspect product(s).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform work per work instructions
- Inspection of components and workplace audits with documented results
- Initiate corrective action as required
- Knowledgeable regarding use of micrometers, calipers, plug gauges and other manual instruments

- Capable of interpreting blue print features and understand how print features apply to various measurement methods
- Ability to load and unload measurement devices to ensure measurements are taken correctly
- Be able to conduct necessary gauge calibrations
- Manage system(s) for gauge calibration and organize as appropriate
- Inspect all incoming material per quality instructions
- Enter NCR in computer and control parts until disposition is determined
- Maintain received files and records
- Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
- Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Organizational skills
- Computer proficiency (Excel and Powerpoint)
