 Great River Energy is currently looking for two Field Representatives (Land Rights - Right of Way). Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Assist the Senior Field Representatives and support the Transmission Permitting and Land Rights department in acquiring governmental approvals, permits, and land rights needed for the construction, operation and maintenance of GRE's transmission system and generating facilities. Assist in other land rights and real estate functions as required.

· Collect and relay all pertinent project information to Manager, Transmission Permitting and Land Right, Senior Field Representatives and support staff and works with GRE's Forester to ensure the safety and integrity of GRE's rights-of-way.

· Manage title ordering process along with reviewing title reports and other related land records to obtain land ownership and to determine vesting and property interests for project notification, project databases, tree clearing activities, and for the preparation of easement acquisition documents.

A typical starting range for this position is $87,000/annually to $102,000/annually. We offer market competitive base pay and adjust our offer accordingly based upon the value of the candidate's knowledge, skills and experience. Qualifications

Knowledge typically acquired through a:

· Bachelor's degree in real estate or related field and two plus years of right-of-way or real estate experience preferred OR

· Two-year technical degree in engineering, civil technology or survey plus three years of right-of-way or real estate experience.

· A real estate license or in the process of obtaining a license is preferred.

· Membership in the International Right-of-Way Association is recommended.

· Knowledge and experience in all facets of title, land acquisition including easements, fee acquisition, leases, permits, etc.

· Knowledge of real estate law, governmental policies, land use planning and eminent domain is required.

· Knowledge of transmission design and construction procedures as well as ability to interpret engineering drawings.

· Knowledge and basic understanding of EMF issues.

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings.

· Ability to make group presentations and professionally represent GRE at various land use hearings.

· Skill in conflict resolution including the ability to address difference of opinions or facts and use of the most appropriate method to reach an effective solution.

· Ability to utilize strong negotiation skills.

· Ability to work in a well-organized, self-directed manner.
