PSE's Policy & Energy Supply team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Combustion Turbine Journey Worker position!

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is looking for a Combustion Turbine Journey Worker to join the team at our Goldendale Generating Station. This is a combined-cycle facility that is rated to produce 277 megawatts of power when operating at maximum capacity. As a CT Journey Worker, you will, inspect, operate and maintain generation plant electrical and mechanical equipment, especially as it applies to combustion turbines, steam and/or combined cycle generation facilities.
This is a rotating shift position. We are looking for someone who can drive and operate equipment as well as perform similar and incidental duties as required. This position responds to plant emergencies and contains some irregular work schedules and overtime hours.
You will work in a variety of settings, including: indoor and outdoor; varied weather conditions; all noise levels; sometimes hazardous conditions and on the full range of outdoor work surfaces
Goldendale, WA is located in South Central Washington is framed by Mount Adams as well as Eastern Columbia River Gorge. Job Responsibilities
- Construct, install, inspect, operate and maintain generation plant electrical and mechanical equipment, especially as it applies to combustion turbines, internal combustion engines, steam and/or combined cycle generation facilities.
- Drive and operate equipment. Perform similar and incidental duties as required.
- This position responds to plant emergencies and contains some irregular work schedules and overtime hours.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must have completed a recognized combustion turbine apprenticeship program or its equivalent and be proficient in using the tools and equipment of the trade as related to combustion turbine work.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- This position requires the employee to obtain and maintain a First Aid, CPR and AED Certificate, and lift truck certification.
- Employees must have a working knowledge and comply with all Company standards, policies, practices, procedures and State and Federal regulations as they pertain to the job.
