Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Talent Management & Organizational Development Effectiveness supports the analysis, design and implementation of people and talent solutions within a growing water & power company.  This role works closely with TM/ODE program managers to deliver on key TM/ODE initiatives (such as: performance management, competency development, succession, employee engagement/culture, etc.). The Sr. Analyst will collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and department leaders to identify opportunities that advance corporate strategic goals and objectives and offer innovative workforce solutions.

This experienced professional will play an active role supporting talent management programs to include providing TM/ODE subject matter expertise, modeling collaboration within project teams, analyzing program data, coordinating implementation efforts, and measuring and reporting on program effectiveness. 

What You'll Do

  • Serves as subject matter expert and consultant to business leadership on all areas of TM/ODE practices. 
  • Stays current with TM/ODE professional organizations, industry and employer groups, governmental agencies, and community organizations to inform internal practice. 
  • Implements best-practice TM/ODE solutions and programs (e.g., performance management, succession, employee experience/engagement, culture, etc.) based on evaluation of multiple data gathering methods including root causes, performance gaps, research, etc.
  • Collects, evaluates, analyzes data, and presents findings/recommendations to inform decision-making by HR and business leadership. 
  • Uses data analytics, internal/external trends, and metrics to highlight program progress, gaps, and measures of success.
  • Collaborates with peers across HR and the business to develop and integrate talent management processes. 
  • Design, plan and implement people solutions and continuous improvement efforts that align with HR strategy and bolster the employee experience.
  • Applies change management skills/practices including ability to identify and address program risks, change resistance as well as opportunities that positively impact stakeholder adoption.
  • Supports the execution of change management initiatives by developing communication content, creating change plans, and coaching leaders. 
  • Manages, develops, and reports metrics and data analytics to ensure project/program effectiveness.
  • Develops project plans and timelines in partnership with project teams to ensure key program deliverables, goals and stakeholder expectations are met. 
  • Leads TM/ODE project teams by modeling collaboration, engagement, and accountability.
