Description
We are currently seeking highly motivated applicants for an Instrumentation Technician (3rd) in the Instrumentation Department of our Power Production Division located at the New Madrid Power Plant in Marston, MO. 

This position will assist in modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, calibrating, installing and cleaning instrumentation inside and outside the plant. Instrumentation and control devices may include:

  • Tubing/wiring associated with equipment monitoring

  • Pneumatic and digital valve controllers and positioners

  • Distributed Control System (DCS) equipment

  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) equipment

  • Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS) equipment

  • I/O Multiplexors

  • Ultrasonic flow measurement and

  • Assorted gauges, transmitters, transducers, switches, analyzers, and other indicating/control devices

Applicants must be able to read and interpret prints, sketches, and technical manuals.

Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. They must possess two years post-secondary electronics school or equivalent training which must include basic computer systems and a minimum of three years' work experience in electronics. A working knowledge of PLC's is preferred.
