An active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required - no exceptions will be made.
- This is a part-time (50% FTE) position. The Audio System Engineer will support audio programs throughout the system engineering a program development life cycles.
- Candidate will provide the skills required to implement the audio surveillance tradecraft.
- Specific skills include acoustic engineering, audio compression, speech processing and filtering, low power audio transmitters, automated detection and recognition algorithms, and signal to noise ratio optimization under a variety of environmental conditions and concealments.
Individual can expect to travel up to 10% of their time on continental United States travel and up to 10% of their time on overseas travel.
Bachelor's degree required in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Signal Processing) and 4 - 8 years of relevant experience.
