Responsibilities of this position include the following:

Support the Rocky Mountain Power quarterly external reporting process.

Report financial and operational performance variances against targets including trend analysis and interpretation of movements in key performance indicators.

Responsible for provision of full performance reporting services to Rocky Mountain Power executives.

Develop monthly performance reports with incisive measurement of actual performance against targets.

Link business strategy and financial planning.

Liaise with PacifiCorp businesses and functions to support performance management and advise best practices and process methodology.

Oversee the consolidation of Rocky Mountain Power financial information for monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts.

Oversee the development of capital / O&M ten year plans and integrated resource planning process.

Influence continued change in culture and mindset towards performance management.

Manage the performance management framework for PacifiCorp on a monthly basis.

Manage, mentor and evaluate employees.
Requirements for this position include the following:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

A minimum of ten years experience in senior performance reporting or performance management role.

A minimum of five years of direct people management.

Leadership and teamwork skills to negotiate with and influence peers and management on policy and strategic issues.
-
Management skills including the ability to establish objectives, develop and execute policy, direct and monitor resources, and recommend and oversee development or implementation of systems, programs, or processes.

Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
-
Ability to deliver high quality results at pace, manage parallel processes, and consistently meet tight deadlines.

Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage and motivate employees.
-
Knowledge of the Company’s strategic plan, regulatory and political environment, as well as the Company’s policies, procedures and practices, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Preferences:
- Advanced Degree.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Utility experience.
