Description
Exp Services Inc. is searching for a Junior Electrical Engineer or Designer to join our Mechanical/Electrical team our Markham, ON office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.
Your Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the electrical engineer or project manager, produce design packages including schematic diagrams, floor plans, equipment room layouts and schedules.
- Under the supervision of the electrical engineer or project manager, prepare concept reports, meeting minutes, specification and contract administration documents.
- Conduct site survey for existing conditions when required.
- Carry the electrical calculation as required for the systems.
- Be capable of developing the design skills on electrical and ICAT systems with senior staff's support.
- Attend site meetings during construction with a senior staff member.
- Contribute to all aspects of system level design and assist with other general tasks when needed.
Requirements
The Skills and Knowledge You Bring
- Electrical Engineering Degree.
- EIT license preferred (Engineer in Training).
- Auto CAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency desired or ready to learn.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products.
