PreVenttm is a manhole and underground vault ventilation and cooling system, that also provides the capability to monitor the health and status of underground structures in real-time. Novinium is uniquely positioned to offer the first proactive solution to this increasing global issue.

We are seeking an experienced Engineer or Scientist with a proven track record to launch and grow the PreVenttm product line.   The role requires refining plans for launch and future growth; P&L responsibility and developing functional teams to support sales, engineering, market development, operations and product support.

 Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the PreVenttm business and have P&L responsibility for this new product line.
  • Manage a team of approximately 5, growing as resources are added in engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Initially operate as the technical program manager to ensure the physical capabilities of PreVenttm, this requires working closely with the engineering project manager to refine the physical offering as well as with supply chain and logistics to support the business scale-up.
  • Refine the business strategy and services offering; lead technology development of future improvements and solutions and build the right team that drives monetization of these capabilities.
  • Work with the marketing team to refine and execute go-to-market strategy as PreVenttm scales up domestically and internationally and develops its proactive/predictive capabilities through online cloud-based monitoring.
  • Act as the sales engineer during the launch and scale-up, being intimately involved in the design, liaising with, and providing feedback to the engineering team and working closely with our Novinium sales team.
  • Developing partnerships, licensing opportunities and optimal utilization of marketing/lead generation resources to drive global revenue.
  • Developing and implementing end to end customer solutions.
  • Help drive cross-functional activities which strengthen the Novinium product roadmap.
  • Develop partnerships with industry leaders to build synergies and standards based on Novinium's internal and external relationships, contacts, reputation and knowledge leadership.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in the Sciences required, MBA preferred.
  • Verifiable top/bottom line success as a Product Line Manager, Product Specialist or Business Director for opportunities over $5 million.
  • Minimum 15 years mechanical/electrical engineering and sales experience; managing and selling industrial equipment, machinery or technical products.
  • A proven leadership experience in the creation and driving of high growth opportunities across multiple functions in global businesses.
  • A team player with demonstrated abilities to lead through influence and evidence based decision making.
  • Ideally, experienced/successful in technical product marketing, driving the go-to-market activity in both Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial organizations.
  • Experience in utilities or other industrial services would be a plus.
