Position Duties: Perform field service which includes maintenance, testing, installation, dismantling, and other work on transformers. Expected to present a professional appearance, maintain equipment and work areas. Candidate must be able to work at heights and in tight spaces. Use of crane, forklift, mobile work platforms and other miscellaneous heavy equipment will be necessary. Work will be outside in the elements. Must work well with customers and other team members. This is a traveling job with a lot of overtime both daily and weekend. Must be able to pass safety classes - CPR/First Aid/AED plus other mandatory classes.
Qualifications: Two years technical college with Associates Degree in an electrical or electronic technology course of study, otherwise, a combination of education and experience is required. Must be willing and able to work all shifts and overtime as required. CDL, testing, internal connection, welding, control wiring, assembly experience and computer knowledge are a plus. A Class A CDL license with air brake endorsement is required.
